The Student Legacy Project was launched by the Art In Your Eye Festival in 2008 to further its mission to promote art experiences, education, and the exploration of artistic self expression. What better way than to connect with student artists of today, who are the legacy of art for the future. Area high schools and colleges were contacted to recruit student artists interested in applying for this juried show. We extend our appreciation to all the art teachers who assisted with this project. And especially to Lisa Czuricsko of Marmion Academy for coordinating the show.

We are pleased to introduce the students participating this first year. Their art will be on display in City Hall, along side of the City Hall Art Exhibit featuring area artists. Art In Your Eye plans to make this a regular part of the annual festival. We look forward even larger numbers of students and schools participating in future years.
